Cape Cod Wood Siding is sealed on all sides applying the finest finish available; PPG Machine Applied Coatings, which is a 100% acrylic, breathable water-based paint. This top-quality finish is applied under strictly controlled factory conditions ensuring that the required thickness is applied over the entire surface of the siding. This system produces a uniform finish and maximum protection that cannot be achieved with field applied paint.

Drying

Kiln dried to 12-15% moisture content.

Coating (solid colours)

Two coat 100% acrylic system on five sides, including one coat on the back.

Warranty

15 year limited coating warranty on solid colour. 8 year limited warranty on semitransparent. See Cape Cod Product Protection Plan for details.

Lengths

Random odd and even 4-16 feet, heavy to 12-14-16 feet. Max 5% 4-6 feet.

Stainless steel siding nails 2-1/2″ (5 lb box)
• sufficient for 900 lineal ft. of siding (single nailed)
• sufficient for 450 lineal ft. of siding (double nailed)

Stainless steel trim nails 3-1/4″ (5 lb box)
• sufficient for 225 lineal ft. of trim (double nailed required)

Stainless steel collated siding nails 2-1/2″ (250 pcs per coil)
• sufficient for 300 lineal ft. of siding (single nailed)

316 Stainless Steel Nails are available for use in extreme moisture conditions.

All nails colour matched. Two protective hammer caps with each 5 lb box.
